IdeaFuel is the personal blog and newsletter of Dan Waldie. That's me 👋 hi!

I am a creator, builder and thinker around many interconnected subjects, but my primary focus for the past 4-5 years has been artificial intelligence and the ways in which it is and will change the world as we know it.

In general, I am an optimist around the impacts of AI, with the caveat that such powerful technology may have some tremendous downsides if mishandled, abused, or developed unsafely. Even in the best-case upside scenario, wins will not be evenly distributed and there will be people whose lives are made worse with the upheaval associated with the change coming.

My goal isn't to distribute thoughts disconnected from reality; I am building with and using AI every day.
